Heavenly City

This is an "end times" reference to the dwelling place of God. To use other metaphors from scripture: the "Heavenly City" offers the final haven for the people of God. Also included on this carving is a reference to another symbol form John's Revelation, the "Bright and Morning Star." This is one of several cosmic forms used as allegories for the Godhead in the Bible.
